THE CROW

~written by Cendi Micor

Just a quick post on one of my favourite movies, "The Crow" which is worthy of a mention. Eric Draven (played by Brandon Lee) displays his eternal love for his murdered fiance by returning from the dead to seek revenge.

I love so much about this movie...the Halloween reference, the music, the crow, the quotes from Edgar Allan Poe's poem "The Raven" and the story of the couple so deeply in love. Ironic that Brandon Lee died during the filming of this film and that it was 3 weeks before he was to be married. Incredibly sad but glad he left us with such an amazing film.

"Buildings burn, people die but real love lasts forever..." ending line before credits of The Crow.

An Ode to the Iconic ELIZABETH TAYLOR

~written by Cendi Micor

Today, many mourned the loss of a beautiful woman. Elizabeth Taylor died today at the age of 79. She was not only known for her beauty...she was also a talented actress, had her own perfume and well known for her violet eyes. Another thing about her was the fact that she had been married numerous times. Of her eight weddings (two of which were to Richard Burton), her are my favourites looks....

Surprisingly, these were both of her weddings to Richard Burton.

This dress was not during a real wedding. It was what she wore in the original Father of The Bride movie.

She will always be remembered. May she rest in peace...
